Two Pole Isolator Terms & Conditions
1. Scope of Work: Contact Solar agrees to appoint a subcontracted company, Haste Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales (registered number 03440010) with its registered office at 29 Creek Road, Hayling Island, Hampshire PO11 9QZ, to install a Two-Pole isolator at the customer’s property as per the agreed-upon specifications.
2. Suitability of Customer Meter Cupboard/Space:
If, upon prior inspection, the customer’s meter cupboard/space is found to be unsuitable for installation, Contact Solar will notify the customer and discuss alternative solutions. Additional costs may apply depending on the required modifications.
3. Customer Absence and Access Issues:
If the customer is not present at the agreed installation time and access is unavailable, Contact Solar will attempt to reschedule the installation. Additional charges will apply for repeated visits due to customer unavailability.
4. Cancellation Policy:
Customers may cancel their installation appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without penalty. Unfortunately, if any cancellations are made less than 24 hours before the appointment, the customer will not be eligible for a refund.
5. Costs for Failed Visits:
The installation fee will be retained for any failed visits due to reasons such as, but not limited to:
– DNO Cutout fused neutral
– Metering point containing asbestos
– Metering point equipment being interfered with or illegally tampered
– Meter neutral tail shared with other meter(s)
– Metering point not having space for an isolation switch installation (even with moving around existing equipment)
– Exposed live conductors or conductive parts present
– Absence of main earth terminal or earth conductor6. Completion and Acceptance: Upon completion of the installation, Haste is responsible for inspecting and signing off on the works.
7. Payment Terms:
Payment in full for the installation of the Two-Pole Isolator is required before any appointment dates are provided and confirmed.
8. Legal Compliance:
The installation of the Two-Pole Isolator will be conducted in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
